Are you happy with your Project reporting?
The answer for many clients is "No!"
Most Project Server 2010/2013 clients have a mix of SQL Server Reporting Services or Excel based reporting solutions.
However, they are finding these solutions to hard to manage, hard to change and dependent on a person with a lot of technical know-how. That person probably left the organization a year ago.
So, how are you keeping your reporting up to date?
Microsoft has been promoting Power BI as one of the key four Business Intelligence tools of the future. However, you may not have seen it shown in the context of Project Server.
Who should attend this webinar on Monday, May 2 at 10AM Pacific?
This webinar is targeted to
- Managers responsible for Project Server solution planning
- Managers responsible for BI Infrastructure within the organization.
- PMO Managers who use Project Server
- Project Administrators
Power BI will be demonstrated and the specific decisions necessary to consider will be discussed.
I'm never going to the cloud. Why should I attend?
The SQL Server 2016 road map includes an item for hosting Power BI content on-premises. While this is not yet available, many of the planning assumptions should still apply.
What can this tool do for me?
In one hour, you'll learn:
- What is Power BI and why would I want to use it?
- What is the intended purpose of Power BI
- How can it be used with on-premises Project Server 2010/2013/2016
- What are the decision points to consider
- What's this going to cost
